Our custom approach to fitness allows for workouts to be tailored to all fitness levels. Exercise is simply movement and we all need to move in a way that is appropriate for our own bodies. We base most of our Personal Training in small groups of 6-8 people. This allows you an affordable way to enjoy the support and camaraderie of your peers, without getting lost in the crowd and possibly injured in a large group setting.

I’ve been involved in the fitness industry ever since I taught my first group aerobics class in 1990. My entire class revolved around the song by Kenny Loggins “Danger Zone”…you remember the movie Top Gun, right?…Well, I was just a high school kid at the time and I was attending an aerobics class, about to get my sweat on, when the instructor failed to show up. Since I knew the routine, I was asked to fill in and low and behold, I was HOOKED!
Since then, fitness has been my passion. I competed in Women’s Natural Bodybuilding for ten years and earned my professional status. I’m a certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise, Mom’s in Motion, Kickforce, Sports Nutrition and Yoga Level. My favorite thing about my job is showing people that they too can let go of old habits and negative thinking to ultimately live in a fit and healthier body. I believe in breathing new life into ho-hum exercises by regularly incorporating new equipment, fun music and a SUPERB attitude. Some of my favorite toys include:

I come to ITC with a wealth of experience in the fitness industry. I have a BS and MA in Exercise Physiology. I am certified through the American Council on Exercise and American College of Sports Medicine. I also have trained specialities as a Master TRX Trainer and Stages Indoor Cycling Instructor. I have been a Personal Trainer for almost 20 years.
I love working with people to learn how to set SMART goals and figure out what they love! I have worked with a wide spectrum of clients including the morbidly obese to Professional Athletes. I believe everyone has the ability to be the best they can be with the right support and tools to grow!
My goal as a trainer is to make fitness Functional and FUN! My favorite types of workouts include cycling and muscular endurance training. I love PT formats of Strength, Boot Camp, HIIT and Tabata. I would LOVE to help you too!

Hello everyone, I’m Megan, the new girl at the desk at Downtown and occasionally in Johnston. I recently received my degree in Exercise Science from Iowa State. I have a love and passion for health and fitness. Volleyball and basketball sparked my love for fitness at a young age. I love helping people make changes to improve their life through health and physical activity. I love the empowered feeling one gets from strength training. Trigger Point Therapy and myofascial release is one of my favorite ways to aid in recovery.
